Has anyone using Firefox 4b1 or 3.6.6 under Win7 x64 reported any problems using the basic editor in the forums? I have tried replying to posts and I see the text box with a single dash in the first line but no cursor nor does any thing appear when I type characters in the edit box. I have to quit and open a new reply window.

After you post 50 messaages, you gain editing privileges.

Why was 50 picked seems a bit high to me. I had an on going problem with MBAM and if I was able to update my prior posts the thread in question would probably be 1/4 the length.

Hi frozen -

The experts and helpers on the forum would also prefer it if you post extra information early in your problems -

This can be very helpful at times as people can forget to add extras to a basic post -

Thank You -

What exactly is this extra information?

I'm using Win7 Pro x64 and FireFox 3.6.6 and I'm experiencing the same problem. To be honest, between the recent forum update, Firefox updates, a load of FireFox add-ons, all on a new PC, I haven't bothered trying to track down where the problem is exactly - too many variables for now and I just have other things to do as well. At first I assumed it was one of my add-ons but I also use the same add-ons on a Vista32 installation with FireFox 3.5.x and don't have this problem. One of my add-ons is IE View which allows you to right click and open the current page in IE (without a copy/paste operation,) so I've been using that in the meanwhile.
