Has anyone using Firefox 4b1 or 3.6.6 under Win7 x64 reported any problems using the basic editor in the forums? I have tried replying to posts and I see the text box with a single dash in the first line but no cursor nor does any thing appear when I type characters in the edit box. I have to quit and open a new reply window.

What is the "-' on the first line of the post box and why is it that if one makes the mistake of positioning the cursor there that one can not enter any text nor move the cursor or enter a carriage return?

Why was 50 picked seems a bit high to me. I had an on going problem with MBAM and if I was able to update my prior posts the thread in question would probably be 1/4 the length.

That was done to keep spam at bay. please do not take it personal as it was not meant towards the decent users

I'm using Win7 Pro x64 and FireFox 3.6.6 and I'm experiencing the same problem. To be honest, between the recent forum update, Firefox updates, a load of FireFox add-ons, all on a new PC, I haven't bothered trying to track down where the problem is exactly - too many variables for now and I just have other things to do as well. At first I assumed it was one of my add-ons but I also use the same add-ons on a Vista32 installation with FireFox 3.5.x and don't have this problem. One of my add-ons is IE View which allows you to right click and open the current page in IE (without a copy/paste operation,) so I've been using that in the meanwhile.
