MBAM.exe takes 50% of CPU

Recommended Posts

On a few systems, when you first start the protection module, the CPU will spike because it is getting a list of the currently running processes. After 20 seconds or so the spike should stop. This will be fixed in the new protection module (due in two weeks or so).

Ok thanks a lot.

I use to use Spyware doctor but now that I know MBAM I'd like to use it in real time protection so I hope it will work fine.

@JeanInMontana There are no malwares found during the scan.It is just when I start the real time shield my cpu is running like if I was doing a complete scan.and it takes 50% of the power. As you can see my computer is not an old one.
