If you are having problems downloading the database via the program, you can now download it as an installer.

http://mbam.malwarebytes.org/database/mbam-rules.exe

This only updates me to 5/21/2010. Is there a newer update. I know my licensed version is at 7/12/2010 release 4306.

If you can update the database within the program, or type and run the following command in start | run:

mbam.exe /update

, then that's good. Otherwise, another method of getting the most recent database is copying from another computer which has MBAM (most likely from your licensed one)-

ISSUE: I need to get the latest database onto a computer that cannot access the Internet.

SOLUTION: You can manually copy the database from a working computer using a flash drive or CD onto the infected PC. Our database file is stored in the following locations.

* Windows XP and 2000

* C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Malwarebytes\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\rules.ref

* Windows Vista and Windows 7:

* C:\ProgramData\Malwarebytes\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\rules.ref
