Hello.

I've been using Malwarebytes' for years now, and I'm very pleased with how it works. But now, my sister has gave me her computer, and one of the first things I did was tried to install Malwarebytes' on it. I was able to donwload the program but when I tried to install it, it gave me the next message:

The setup files are corrupted. Please obtain a new copy of the program.

And I did. Several times.

It only worked when I used Softonic to donwloaded it, but then it didn't let me update it.

Help please?

Hello and :)

Is the MBAM you are trying to install cracked? Where are you installing MBAM from? Are you installing it from http://malwarebytes.org/? If not install it from there. ;)

Thank you guys. Both for the warm welcome and the help.

The problem seems to be solve now. Just one thing, before when I tried to install the program I tried it from the Malwarebytes site, and later I even folow a link provided in this forum and in both cases it didn't direct me to MajorGeek page. It directed me to a downloaded page inside malwarebytes.org! I just cheked both ways and now it sends me directly to MajorGeek :) I'm really confuse. Maybe I have a virus or something??

I'll see how everthing works from now.

Thanks!!!

Softonic has been a 'suspect' site from Spain for some time now -

Please follow the directions from AdvancedSetup to have our experts review your problems -

Major Geeks and Cnet are 2 of our main distributors of the program , but there are several others also -

Thank You -
