MBAM Causes CPU Usage To Skyrocket

Every time I OPEN Malwarebytes, my CPU Usage go up to 100%. I don't even have to be running a scan for it to be that high.

I have tried ending every possible process that I can, but it still remains at 100%.

PC Info:

OS Name: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium

Installed Physical Memory (RAM): 2.00 GB

Total Physical Memory: 1.87 GB

Available Physical Memory: 667 MB

Total Virtual Memory: 3.64 GB

Available Virtual Memory: 2.26 GB

Also can you check your current updates - Version 4294 is current now -

Have you ever had any error messages with Malwarebytes during or after a scan -

I don't get any error messages. I'm on the free version (I use it as a backup). Yes, I have updated my version. This has been a problem since I have started using it, but I just now thought about checking out why.
