MBAM Has 0 Objects scanned

Recommended Posts

Today, a friend download some video files. After he was done, he wanted to scan them, they were in a folder on my computer, with my AV before transferring them to his flash drive. As usual, I scan it with my AV as well as MBAM and SAS. However, the MBAM log said that 0 objects were scanned. :P The scan did work when I went into the folder, chose "Select All" and then scanned. Is there a reason for this? A glitch?

Hi -

If you have just done a Right Click scan of one item/file there will be no logs to view , it will just state if it is clean or infected -

A log is only generated with a full or a quick scan of the computer -

Thank You -

Thank you. However, when I do a right-click scan on some of my folders, such as ones containing pictures, a log file is produced, as it always is when I scan using MBAM, which lists the number of objects scanned. I assumed a log file was produced for all scans when the two options in the Settings menu are chosen.

I'm on Windows XP SP3, which I forgot to include in my original post.
