  • C:\Windows\System32\drivers\mbam.sys
  • C:\Windows\SysWoW64\drivers\mbamswissarmy.sys

I just read your post here and please let me know that I did it the right way. I have Windows 7 64 bit.

I went to Kaspersky Trusted Applications and added:

1) C:\Program Files (x86)\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\mbam.exe

2) C:\Program Files (x86)\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\mbamgui.exe

3) C:\Program Files (x86)\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\mbamservice.exe

Now, when I selected each to the trusted list it had about four subsections for me to check if I wanted (it came up as unchecked by default but I checked each subsection) and I pressed OK.

Then I went to the Exclusion Section and Added:

1) C:\Program Files (x86)\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\zlib.dll

2) C:\Program Files (x86)\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\mbam.dll

3) C:\Program Files (x86)\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\mbamext.dll

4) C:\ProgramData\Malwarebytes\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\rules.ref

5) C:\Windows\System32\drivers\mbam.sys

6) C:\Windows\SysWoW64\drivers\mbamswissarmy.sys

Then I pressed "Apply" and "Ok"

That is what I did......Did I do it correctly?

If I did it correctly. Then let me ask you, what does adding those Malwarebytes programs to the Trusted and Exclusion list for Kaspersky do?

Hello m41j6: :o

Seems you are well set. Additionally if you are using a software based firewall you also have to allow mbam.exe

Exclusions are added to allow real-time protection to work seamlessly without any conflicts. Should you have any other question(s) please post back using MXyBj.png button

Thank you so much for the welcoming.

So when I typed this:

"Now, when I selected each to the trusted list it had about four subsections for me to check if I wanted (it came up as unchecked by default but I checked each subsection) and I pressed OK."

I was suppose to check mark each subsection even though by default it wasnt checked marked?

Also, by doing what I did both Kaspersky and Malwarebytes will still work as effective as before, correct? It just want interfere with each other but both will still work as strong as before in protecting?

Hello mjnoles1: should I once again say you are welcome :o

As long as you have added all the files that exile360 one of our Experts has mentioned you don't have to worry

It is something like two cashiers working using the same cash machine together i.e. building a trust relationship (maybe my example is incorrect)!
