IP Blocks Don't Appear to Block Anything

Hi, whenever I visit a site that has been deemed dangerous, the familiar IP Block balloon pops up.

Successfully blocked access to potentially malicious site...

However, the page itself still loads as it normally would. Does this mean that the block is faulty, or that Malwarebytes' has only blocked the dangerous content?

I get that on one site I visit daily as well. It is most likely an ad that is hosted on a bad IP.
