This is very frustrating...

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I think I have some malware on my computer. After I have passed the log in screen I will reach the desktop but after about 2-5 minutes. My computer will freeze and then will eventually beep at me. If I try open up Firefox browser 2 windows will pop up linking me to mainadver.com.

I have tried using lots of scanners to get rid of it. I've tried using Avast, Malwarebytes, Combofix, Spybot - Search & Destroy and no luck.

After I scanned my computer with Combofix, mainadver.com has stopped popping up. But I am still receiving the freezing problem.

Hopefully this all makes sense.

Any help would be appreciated thanks.
