Confusion over keyboard.dll!

Recommended Posts

I'm trying to purge my computer of a certain DNS changer, so I had MBAM scan it.

However it's picked up 6 instances of "keyboard.dll" which it's tagged "trojan.agent". However these are connected to my custom keyboard layout made with Microsoft software, if I let it destroy them, my keyboard will be lost.

What do I do? Can I clean them without hurting my keyboard setup?

Hi Stripy Witch -

Once you customise your system then it is your choice as to the items you leave or delete during any scan -

Leave the items you have detected in "Quarantine" for now so you can reinstall if needed -

We cannot be held to account for your customisations - If they have been done with standard items then they should not show in any scan -

Download and run a scan of Dr Web Cure It to check if the results still show as an infection after you Quarantine them -

Thank You - ;)
