Hi -

If the old unit is still going to be operating then we prefer you to uninstall the old version as per instructions below first -

Then you can always reinstall the free version at any time - Using MBAM clean will just remove traces of the Key and ID from the old system -

If there is no way to recover the old Key and ID please contact Cleverbridge and they can re register the computer -

You then Copy and Paste the Key and ID from your Cleverbridge email onto your new system -

To Fully Remove and Reinstall a Fresh New Copy of Malwarebytes - Read Carefully

Windows XP:

  • Click on Start and select Control Panel
  • Open Add/Remove Programs
  • Uninstall Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
  • Restart your computer very important !
  • Download and run mbam-clean.exe from here

It will ask to restart your computer, please allow it to do so, very important

After the computer restarts, temporarily disable your Anti-Virus and install the latest version of Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from here

Windows Vista and Windows 7:

  • Click on the Start button and select Control Panel
  • Click on Programs and Features
  • Uninstall Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
  • Restart your computer very important !
  • Download and run mbam-clean.exe from here

It will ask to restart your computer, please allow it to do so, very important

After the computer restarts, temporarily disable your Anti-Virus and install the latest version of Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from here

I hope this helps - If not please post back -

Thank You - ;)

EDIT -

This will only take a few mins to un/reinstall (if you want to use an unregistered version) and just a Copy and Paste to use the Registered version -

Grey Fox: As far as I understand, it is a lifetime license for one system, since you are unable to boot your old system (meaning won't be using it), it would be legit to transfer license to new system. Just follow mountaintree16's advice to retrieve licensing info
