More info:-

I'd not updated Malware bytes to the latest database version, so it's possible that there had been some changes between my last update and this(4239).

Is there a log kept of when updates are applied? would it be easy to add this info into the logs so you could see the version of the updates?

Is there a way of keeping Malwarebytes up to date whenever there is a live internet connection?

I'm not getting the constant reminders of blocked Ip, and now STEAM is displaying the NEWS correctly.

So it's possible that the recent update has fixed the issue. I'll let you know of any more,
