Its working fine on my systems but I do notice a big increase in Quick scan times since Database version 3090 or so.

My Windows 7 system now takes 2 minutes 43 seconds when it used to take just over 1 minute and my XP Pro system now takes 7 minutes 46 seconds when it used to take just over 5 minutes.

Um...are these supposed to be the hash values of mbam-setup-1.46.exe? I've already got 1.46 installed, but since MBAM today claimed it wanted to install 1.46 (I had already installed it yesterday), I wondered whether I had a bad file. I let MBAM install it again, but after reading this thread, I downloaded mbam-setup-1.46.exe just now from the link provided earlier in this thread, and then I checked the MD5 and SHA1 hash values. They weren't at all like the ones listed above. Should they be?

After I posted those hashes we made a minor change to the files. The new hashes should be -

Tried installing to latest version and it downloaded o.k, then malwarebytes closed. Checked version to be 1.46 but current database version is showing 4/29/10

Todays date is 5/3/10 Maybe this will rectify after re-boot as I did not get a reboot message, possibly because I am logged in as a standard user. I usually surf the internet with standard account, and just use Admin pass to download updates. Will check back tomorrow if no change after re-boot.

Upgraded almost without any problem,

It asked me to reboot every time my computer restarted, but after about the 3rd time it stopped and worked fine!

This may not be an issue to individual users, but you can surely see the impact this would have in an enterprise environment. Installing the software, rebooting, then immediately having to install it again and then rebooting again is a deal killer from where I sit. Is there any way around this?

Hello,

I just downloaded and installed mbam-setup-1.46.exe a couple of days ago (June 6 or so) from the link on your homepage which led to majorgeeks.com. The md5 for that file is:

097850704eb9c6b24ca546c4a86b64c9

...and the size is slightly larger than the current file that I can get from CNET with the md5 that you've listed here. Can you please tell me if that is the md5 of the earlier file or if I should be worried? Thanks.

In regards to the command line switches, is there a full list / tutorial on this somewhere?

My issue in specific is I am trying to perform command line remediation to other machines within our network using psexec and the mbam switches. So far I haven't been able to get to work on any other machine than my own test box. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi JCBolin, and welcome to Malwarebytes.org

Please send an email to corporate-support@malwarebytes.org

We can provide you with additional command parameters.

Please note that all corporate support inquiries require an order number.

Hello Jack,

Thanks for the reply. I sent a request via the form and emailed the corporate support email address twice now and have not received any feedback. I would like to inquire about a corporate license for my company. We are currently using A2 as a command line scanner for remediation without involving the end user, but now that Malwarebytes has something to offer to that end, we are extremely interested. I have an individual license that I have been testing with on my machine and am very pleased with the real time protection and the addition of the command line scans.

So what does it take to get someone to respond to my request? I sent in a request and follow up email at the begenning of last week. Sent another email at the first of this week. We have 5000+ workstations that this would be needed for.

Please fill out the form again and make sure that your e-mail spam filter is set to allow any email from malwarebytes.org

Also ensure that your network admin allows such emails in via their spam filtering software/hardware such as a Barracuda or other control mechanism. We find that quite often it's due to our response being blocked. Fill in the form completely and maybe add an alternate email address as well.

Thank you.

Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware 1.46 has been released.

This is primarily a bugfix release. If you had issues with version 1.45, please let us know if 1.46 resolves them. A change log may be found here.

The new version is available here.

Thank you to our beta testers and forum contributors for your input!

V1.46 has blocked access to my website. Who do I contact to have my website removed from your blocked list? I own a surplus business and we have nothing to do with virurs, malware or spyware.

Thanks

Robert
