Malwarebytes Pro & Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2010 Freezing

Hello,

So I installed Malwarebytes Pro and activated the resident protection, and installed Kaspersky AV 2010. Now the computer randomly freezes, usually when it is in Internet Explorer. The system is running on Windows XP.

I just wanted to know if there were any known conflicts between the two programs.

I've been running them together for a long time now and have not experienced such issues. I would however recommend you install KAV 2011 as it is far lighter on resources and appears to have better behavioral/heuristics detection capabilities than 2010 did. You can grab the latest version here.

You don't need to remove 2010 as it will do so automatically, please see this support article for details.
