i have an unknown browser highjacker

I have norton 360 i have tried a few others also to scan for my problem nothing has helped. In the past i have used malware bytes when all else fails and until today it never let me down. None of the virus scans have shown anything and i even reset my browser. When I do a search and then try and click on some(not every link) of the links it reloads and send me to usually some sort of ad selling me something. So far none of it is any porn sites(thankfully) but it is quite annoying and slowing the system to a crawl at times. I am not very computer savy but do understand the basics. Each time i ran any of my scans i made sure they were updated within a few minutes of my using it. A rep from norton tried to find the problem remotely and ran a bunch of scans that all came up with nothing. HELP
