A question for the developers

Recommended Posts

There's no need to boot into safe mode as Mbam runs better in normal mode.

You've misread my post, that's not what I am talking about

Some files require a reboot to remove, if you have specified that someone run MBAM and then reboot into safe mode to run a different scanner like SAS, are you interfering with the final cleanup by MBAM?

here's an example of what I am talking about

that's why I said it was a question for the developers

MBAM should be rebooted into regular mode after a scan .

There are registry fixes that cant be made while malware is live and requires a full reboot to make them .

Once back on your desktop it is safe to reboot into safemode .

We will be changing the load point of the on reboot fixes and these changes should allow rebooting into safemode without the loss of any reboot fixes .

Thanks Bruce,

I suspected that had happened in one case but with malware it's hard to guess what's going on.
