Windows 7 and Malwarebytes

Recommended Posts

Malwarebytes has a parameter in "settings" that allows you to turn the balloon OFF when it blocks a web site. But, Windows 7 also has a setting that allows for you to see the Malwarebytes icon in the tray BUT you have to get the notification also.

Malwarebytes is almost a constant "balloon" always covering up my tray as it is stopping some IP constantly.

Anyone know how to turn the notification balloon on Malwarebytes? Yes glad it is catching the web site but there is nothing i can do about is so wish it would just do it and shut up.

Welcome jagman

The question you should be asking is Why is a constant "balloon" always covering up my tray?

I use CurrPorts to see what is happening on my system

Description

CurrPorts is network monitoring software that displays the list of all currently opened TCP/IP and UDP ports on your local computer. For each port in the list, information about the process that opened the port is also displayed, including the process name, full path of the process, version information of the process (product name, file description, and so on), the time that the process was created, and the user that created it.
