Malware Bytes Closing after scan

i have recently downloaded malware bytes because of some redirecting issues on browsers and because i want to be safe! but when the scan completes or i abort the scan the dialog box appears, and as soon as i click ok the entire program shuts down. please help so i can get rid of the malware on this comp!

It seems the malware tried to close MBAM before they were destroyed by MBAM.
