win 7 x64

Everything was fine until one day I turned on my computer and in the corner of the screen it said this version of windows is not genuine. Everything ran EXTREMELY slow. talking 40 minute boot up time browsing in windows was very slow etc. Then i got a windows error when i was logged in that said you may have been a victim of software counterfieting or something along those lines. I have a legit version of windows 7 professional. So instantly I just went straight to formatting my hd.

Then installed windows on it. Authenticated and everything, genuine windows now. But it ran extremely slow for about two days. It seems to have picked up speed and id say it is about back to 90% of it was before the day i booted up and had the genuine issue. Once in awhile when i do something new, open up my first pdf, first word document, notepad, calculator etc it loads pretty sload. Sometimes rick clicking is very slow. I am wondering if you see anything in my hjt log or if my suspiscion that my hd is failing is something you feel good be happening too. Thank you in advance.

Our apologies for the long wait time.

Please run RSIT by following the steps below:

  1. Download Random's System Information Tool (RSIT) by random/random from this link.
  2. It is important that is saved to your desktop (please do not click 'Run' when downloading).
  3. Double click on the icon on your desktop for RSIT to run it.
  4. Click Continue at the disclaimer screen.
  5. Once it has finished, two logs will open in separate Notepad windows. Please copy and paste the contents of both log.txt (<<-will be maximized) and info.txt (<<-will be minimized) into a reply. Note that you can also save the logs on your desktop and attach them to a reply.
