Windows 7 Home 64 bit

Recommended Posts

I have recently come straight from a PC running Win XP to a PC running the Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit system and am just learning to find my way around it.

I had Malwarebytes on my last PC and I found out that it also supported Windows 7 - 32 and 64 bit so I downloaded and installed it.

I then found out that in Windows 7 there would appear to be two sets of program files, one relating to the 64 bit system and one relating to the 32 bit system. (x86)

I found that Malwarebytes had installed in the 32 bit Program Files list.

Will this make any difference to the running of the program or what it scans or how it operates.

If so what should be my course of action.
