AV Security Suite and Antimalware Doctor

Recommended Posts

I had the unexpected pleasure of dealing with both of these yesterday. Unfortunately Malwarebytes did not remove AV Security Suite after many attempts. I was forced to try my inexperienced hand at a manual removal, and that seems to have fared a bit better. I have two lingering issues, however. Upon starting up my PC I get the following error:

Rundll

Error loading idpyreob.dll

The specified module could not be found

It's not a huge issue as I simply click ok and the box closes, but I'd rather not have to deal with it every start up. I'm also concerned that it might portend other problems.

My other issue is with Google Chrome. I was able to get IE and Firefox working again by unselecting proxy server, but that didn't work with Chrome. New to the site so I'm not sure I'm posting this in the right section, but any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
