I was Another victim of pragmad.sys bsod yesterday and read the topic 50514 - that worked for me (Combofit.exe) - thanks ever so much. The only problem was that I had to reestablish the EXE-> Application assosciation.

Hello Dave,

First, please do not use ComboFix on your own without the direct guidence of malware fighters/experts. The tool is so powerful that it may cause system failure if used improperly. (You can get a better understanding why I said so in this post at bleeping computer:

Then I believe you need to post your problem to the malware removal forum, as it is more likely malware related.

As we don't work on Malware removal or diagnostics in this forum, please follow the directions below.

• Please print out, read, and follow the directions here, skipping any steps you are unable to complete. Then post a NEW topic here.
