Getting redirected to news websites

I was unable to make a post using IE...I'm going to try Firefox. Unfortunately using Firefox I don't see a way to attach any files.

I had one of those fake antivirus trojans that Malwarebytes removed...now my google searches are redirected to other sites and I'm getting occasional pop-ups taking me to fake news sites.

I'm sort of a computer moron, so I hope I've followed the directions of what to post correctly.
