After running a malwarebytes full scan it found 4 trojans and asked for a reboot. After restarting I got back to my desktop to find that, apparently, almost every single text file on my entire PC was gone. I found some that had survived but the greater majority of my .txt, .doc, .odt etc were gone. This included tons of config files and .ini files so my PC is a complete shambles. Ironically enough, when I opening my browser (which no longer has any bookmarks and had reverted to default settings) a second browser window popped up loading a random website. Which means My pc was decapitated but the actual trojan/virus/malware/adware had gone unnoticed.

any suggestions? Oh, and my restore points went with the rest, so no backups
