Hello Stockholm, :)

A green Hijack.Start Menu

Registry Data

HKEY_CURREMT_USER/SOSTWARE/MICROSOFT/WINDOWS....

What is that ??????

Can you elaborate a bit more on this?

Do you mean you don't know whether those are infected files/registry items that MBAM found aftern a scan?

Or were these noticed by the antivirus/ internet security/ other security software installed on the system when you installed MBAM?

Where did you get the MBAM installation file? Is it from the official source: MajorGeeks, CNET or FileForumBeta (and are not from those sponsored links there)?

Just add a note: please use the "ADDREPLY" button at the bottom of the topic instead of the "REPLY" one, thank you.

Hi Stockholm -

Please follow these directions to remove the copy of Malwarebytes you have and install a fresh copy -

Windows XP:

  • Click on Start and select Control Panel
  • Open Add/Remove Programs
  • Uninstall Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
  • Restart your computer very important !
  • Download and run mbam-clean.exe from Here

It will ask to restart your computer, please allow it to do so, very important

After the computer restarts, temporarily disable your Anti-Virus and install the latest version of Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from Here

Also please respond with the AntiVirus program you are using -

Thank You - :)
