my internet and sound stopped working after using malwarebytes

A few days ago i must've gotten a virus on my computer befcause an antivirus program kept popping up (green shield with a white checkmark). I used malwarebytes and the anitvirusd program seemed to have dissapeared but now my internet is not workking and my sound is not working either. is the virus still there??? please help!! :D
