Error Check Infected

Been having problems with Malwarebytes recently so I decided to run a quick scan of my system. After a couple of minutes, I got the following error:

"An error has occurred. Please report this error code to our support team:

MBAM_ERROR_CHECK_INFECTED (32,7)

This process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process."

I run the following specs:

Dell Inspiron 1501 laptop

Windows XP, SP 3

2 GB RAM

AMD Athelon 64 x2

120 GB HD

HELP!!!!

The solution related to this error code in this board leads to a check of your system, so -

As we don't work on Malware removal or diagnostics in the general forums, please follow the directions below.
