Windows 7 | Firefox 3.6.3

When I started up Firefox this morning I find that I have an unwanted toolbar called "Bigseek Pro". It doesn't show up in addons, or installed programs and I have an idea this is bad business. How do I get rid of it? - Help Appreciated, IM

Please use the "ADD REPLY" button located at the bottom of the page :)

You don't see it in the area where I have my Kaspersky URL Advisor?

Nope, not there. Now Firefox constantly shows the request to restart Firefox, which has no effect on the problem? I ran a Malware deep scan, and a Kaspersky deep scan and there wer no findings. I'm about to uninstall Firefox, run a cleaner if they have one and start over :-( Do appreciate your help . . . IM

Hello , and welcome to Malwarebytes.org

Well if it's there but hidden and you can't remove it then you might want to have someone assist you in scanning for Malware.

We don't work on Malware removal in the general forums.

Please print out, read and follow the directions here, skipping any steps you are unable to complete. Then post a NEW topic here.

One of the expert helpers there will give you one-on-one assistance when one becomes available.

After posting your new post make sure under options that you select Track this topic and choose one of the Email options so that you're alerted when someon has replied to your post.

Alternatively, as a paying customer, you can contact the help desk at support@malwarebytes.org

Yes, if it is that problematic it is more likely than not malware so please do follow AdvancedSetup's directions above.

You are very welcome and good luck :)
