Google Hijack + no audio device

Hi, I require some assistance please. I have picked up a a virus which has basically giving me google search results that get directed to phony sites. There is also no recognition of the audio devices on the PC either. Do know if these 2 symptoms are connected or maybe 2 different infections.

Although pc is reconnected to the internet again for the most of the day it has not recognised the network, the internet or other devices. Malwarebytes is currently running and 1 infected object already detected. What should I do?
