BroomeTech Posted May 24, 2010 ID:255023 Share Posted May 24, 2010 I have been using Malwarebytes for a number of years now with great sucess. However in the last month or so I have noticed a strange problem. Under certain curcumstances MB does not automaticaly create a log file. If I start MB manually and run a scan, a log file is created. But when I create a schedualed task with the command line "C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\mbam.exe" /scan -log -terminate the job runs without error but no log file created. I have searched the entire drive to see if the log file was being created elsewhere but no luck. I have seen this on a number of customers machines now and wondered if anyone else has come across this issue. I noticed that there is a new scheduler in the updated version is this causing my problem ?
exile360 Posted May 24, 2010 ID:255061 Share Posted May 24, 2010 Greetings and welcome to Malwarebytes This is a known issue with the -terminate command. It is being addressed by the developers and should be fixed once version 1.47 is released, however I currently have no projected release date for the new version. If you require anything further please post or contact support@malwarebytes.org (corporate-support@malwarebytes.org if you are a technician or corporate customer). Thanks
