gtyhfy Posted May 23, 2010 ID:254697 Share Posted May 23, 2010 Hello Laurie Pratt, That seems to be an old error code. Maybe let's try a clean install first. By using the method below, you will lose the history of your previous scans , so copy and paste one or two if you want to keep recent history into notepad. Please follow the instructions below:For Windows XP:Click on Start and select Control PanelOpen Add/Remove ProgramsUninstall Malwarebytes' Anti-MalwareRestart your computer very importantDownload and run mbam-clean.exe from here It will ask to restart your computer, please allow it to do so very importantAfter the computer restarts, temporarily disable your Anti-Virus and install the latest version of Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from here. Remember to enable your Anti-Virus after installation. For Windows Vista and Windows 7:Click on the Start button and select Control PanelClick on Programs and FeaturesUninstall Malwarebytes' Anti-MalwareRestart your computer very importantDownload and run mbam-clean.exe from here It will ask to restart your computer, please allow it to do so very importantAfter the computer restarts, temporarily disable your Anti-Virus and install the latest version of Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from here. Remember to enable your Anti-Virus after installation.Note: You will need to reactivate the program using the license you were sent via email if using the Pro versionLaunch the program and set the Protection and Registration. Then go to the UPDATE tab if not done during installation and check for updates.Restart the computer again and verify that MBAM is in the task tray if using the Pro version. Now setup any file exclusions as may be required in your Anti-Virus/Internet-Security/Firewall applications and restart your Anti-Virus/Internet-Security applications. You may use the guides posted in the FAQ's here or ask and we'll explain how to do it.In case the above method does not work, would you mind telling your operating system (Win XP/ Vista/ 7) and any kinds of antivirus/ internet security/ firewall (with version number) you are using on that system?is there any problem when you have a quick scan? Please post back if you have further questions.Thank You PS when reply, please use the "ADD REPLY" button at the buttom of the thread instead of the "REPLY" one, thanks.
