"Virus Scan Soft" virus - need help!

i just got the virus that claims to be virus scanner/protection software and says my files are infected. i ran AVG Free 9.0 and removed some stuff but the virus was still around. im using safe mode with networking right now to run more virus scans and try to get help. if anybody knows about this "Virus Soft" virus or whatever it is called. im not sure about the name but can anybody give me suggestions as to what to do? im worried and want this fixed!

p.s. im not sure if this is the right part of the forum but please help.

problem was resolved. turns out my malwarebytes i had wasnt the newest version and couldnt detect the virus.

Moral of the storey - ALWAYS Update your A/Virus and A/Malware every time it is used (daily) -
