The free version of Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware never expires. You can use it for as long as you like. However the free version will only remove malware infections from your computer. It will not stop you from becoming infected. But the paid version also has a realtime protection module which can stop you from becoming infected in the first place.

after finishing the scan. all of the malware will be permanently removed?

Malwarebytes Anti-Malware will tell you whether or not it is necessary to reboot your computer after the scan is finished.

NOTE: I am in malware removal training at the moment. And, as such, I am not permitted to give specific malware removal advice. What I have said so far is about the limit of what I am allowed to do.

Hi -

After a normal clean scan you should not need a reboot -

However after finding an infection the program may ask you to reboot to fully remove any infections that are found -

If you think that you are still infected please follow the advice above from marktreg -

I've actually moved it back to General since there is no real log or other information here in the post but I will close this post now.
