Hello,

I've just purchased the full version of Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and I'm being shown every 15-20 minutes that:

Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Successfully blocked access to a potentially malicious website : 77.221.153.143

If I look on the log file I can see that something tries to reach the IP address about 20 times in 2 minutes and then pauses for another 20 minutes or so. I've googled the address and seen that its considered to be a harmful IP address. I've done a full scan with Malwarebytes' and also with McAfee, both have returned negative results.

Using McAfee I've found that the source of the process (or whatever it is) is under the Windows Explorer process. Is there anyway of me narrowing down and finding out what is causing my computer to do this using Malwarebytes' or other means?

Many thanks

I use CurrPorts for this

Description

CurrPorts is network monitoring software that displays the list of all currently opened TCP/IP and UDP ports on your local computer. For each port in the list, information about the process that opened the port is also displayed, including the process name, full path of the process, version information of the process (product name, file description, and so on), the time that the process was created, and the user that created it.
