Greetings:

I am running ESET Nod32 antivirus. Over the last few days, I have periodically received the following message from Nod32:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\userinit.exe - a variant of Win32/Kryptik.EIP trojan - unable to clean

Malwarebytes detected nothing. Is there some way I can definitely find out whether I am really infected with this and, if so, how to remove it?

Thanks,

undefined

ETA: I ran Malwarebytes again and this time it identified the file. I tried to remove and restart, but apparently it's still there. Any direction on this would be appreciated. I apologize if this has been posted in the wrong thread.
