I'd like to extend a sincere, heart felt thank you to the developers of Malwarebytes. I've got the free version, and it continues to save my ass from the most ANNOYING viruses all the time. There have been about 3 times where I've picked something up (somehow) and each time had a mini freak out- "what do i do what do i do what do i do!?"

A quick google search always leads me back to your program, and it has single-handedly destroyed the virus and left me safe. You guys ALWAYS pull through for me, thank you so much.

If you do wish to prevent the infections from getting onto your PC to begin with you might consider purchasing a license for the Pro version of Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware. It's a one time fee of $24.95 US for one computer for a lifetime license (ie no renewal or subscription fees ). It will run actively in the background alongside your resident antivirus to block the nasties from getting onto your PC. It also features scheduled updates and scheduled scans.

I've looked into it, but it's not in the near future... (at least not until im done dropping $30k on school). On the bright side, it's not a program i'll be ditching anytime soon so when i come up on a decent job i'll throw some extra cash towards a license.

That's understandable, school is quite expensive these days . Try to keep yourself clean on the net and keep Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware installed and update it and scan with it regularly.
