blue screen, bug screensaver virus

Both have the system recovery feature but I now doubt the boot issue relates to a partition mismatch on the boot.ini data file that the bios looks for on boot up...your problems however seem to relate to other hardware...battery, or perhaps RAM:

You didn't indicate which, so I looked up both.

i think you should check your registry

maybe there is a problem

You realize of course, you have resurrected a thread that is more than two years old. More than likely, there is no one monitoring this issue anymore. The originator of this thread could very well have purchased another computer by now.
