I have been advised to tell this forum of my problem by Bleepingcomputer.com

A scan with MBAM causes unexpected shutdown. Here is the event log.

Please run quick scans only. We have fixed this problem and it will be resolved in version 1.18 due tomorrow or the next day.

Do I sense a need for a global sticky? :P
