Recommended Posts

Hi -

Can you please be a bit more specific with what you mean by "disabled/exit" -

Did you cancel a scan that was operating , or were you downloading -

Try this quick fix first - It may help -

  • Open Internet Explorer
  • Note: It MUST be Internet Explorer, not Firefox, Opera, Chrome or any other internet browser
  • Click on Tools at the top and select Internet Options
  • Note: If you do not see Tools, press the Alt key on your keyboard and it will show up
  • Click on the Connections tab
  • Click on the LAN settings button
  • Under Automatic configuration make sure that the box next to Automatically detect settings is checked, if it is not, then click the box next to it to check it
  • Click on the OK button to close the Local Area Network (LAN) Settings window
  • Click on the OK button to close the Internet Options window
  • Use this diagram as a guide

Thank You -

@Esetisthebest

Does this have version 1.46 of MBAM ? You can verify a couple of ways: Hover your mouse over the MBAM icon in system notification area. Does it show version 1.46 ?

Alternatively, while in MBAM, click the About tab and check.

Also, advise us as to which version/edition of Windows is on this system, and whether it has other security programs installed.

I'm currently running Windows 7 64-bit, with Threatfire and Eset Nod32 4.2.40.

The version of Malwarebytes' I'm using is 1.46(latest).

It's not a major problem. I can start the protection, etc, but I was just wondering what the whole problem was all about. I think I've got it 3 times before. All I want to do is to help you guys out, fixing errors that bothers me, and get answers.
