Nod32 ScrInject.B.Virus

[Dragonsmight]

Nod32 keeps asking me to reboot to clean these files but upon reboot they are still there. Malwarebytes says everything is clean. The following is as requested here Thanks in advance for all the help!

Your version of MBAM is VERY old. please run the following to remove your current version and update to the latest version and scan again.

Windows Vista and Windows 7:

• Click on the Start button and select Control Panel
  
• Click on Programs and Features
  
• Uninstall Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
  
• Restart your computer very important
  
• Download and run mbam-clean.exe from here
  
• It will ask to restart your computer, please allow it to do so very important
  
• After the computer restarts, temporarily disable your Anti-Virus and install the latest version of Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from here
  
  • Note: You will need to reactivate the program using the license you were sent via email if using the Pro version
    
  • Launch the program and set the Protection and Registration. Then go to the UPDATE tab if not done during installation and check for updates.
    Restart the computer again and verify that MBAM is in the task tray if using the Pro version. Now setup any file exclusions as may be required in your Anti-Virus/Internet-Security/Firewall applications and restart your Anti-Virus/Internet-Security applications. You may use the guides posted in the FAQ's here or post to ask and we'll explain how to do it.

Well that indicates that you've downloaded and installed a cracked/stolen version of NOD32

I would fully uninstall the product and install something like the Free Anti-Virus from Avira

Ok I followed your instructions. One of the problems I had was that NOD32 tells me I need to restart my computer to clean the files. Every time I do so the files are back upon reboot. I have also gone to the Quarantine section and deleted everything there and they still come back. In process of uninstalling and purchasing Nod32 now.

Because one of the files that came with that cracked version was an infection back door itself. Fully remove it and delete all files and folders associated with NOD32 and it should be removed.

So how did I get infected in the first place?

At this time your system appears to be clean. Nothing else in the logs indicates that you are still infected.

Now that you are clean, please follow these simple steps in order to keep your computer clean and secure:

Disable and Enable System Restore-VISTA

This is a good time to clear your existing system restore points and establish a new clean restore point:

Turn off System Restore-Vista
