Hi eclamer -

Basically yes - Do not install it on the first computer , just forward the Email from Cleverbridge to the second comp -

From the FAQ section - For future Reference -

ISSUE: I'm changing computers. How do I Transfer my License to the new computer?

SOLUTION: Keep a copy of your ID/KEY from the computer you wish to remove it from and you can run the following to remove it from the old computer.

Uninstall Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware using Add/Remove programs in the control panel.

Restart your computer (very important).

Download and run this utility. mbam-clean.exe

It will ask to restart your computer (please allow it to).

Then install MBAM on the new computer and Register it with the ID/KEY from the system you just removed it from.

You should also have an email from Cleverbridge with your ID/KEY purchase information.(Keep this information)

Thank You -

If you are asking if you can actually buy the license using one computer then put it on a different computer (and only using it on that one computer) then yes you can  Only one license can be used per computer.

If you would like to protect more than one computer, you need to purchase more than one license (one lifetime license per computer for home users) and there are discounts available for multiple purchases.

Hi eclamer and welcome to malwarebytes.

No you cannot. That is against the EULA(End User License Agreement)and will be banned after recognized. Please only install one license per computer. Thank you.

I only want to install on one computer, but due to the infection I cannot access anything but the antisoftware spyware page!!!!

I just wanted to make sure that once I purchased I will get a registration code that I can use on my home computer.

Thanks

Thanks, answered my question perfectly - just need to install on 1 computer, just cannot get to anything other than the "antivirus software BUY THIS" web site on the infected computer.

Thanks again.

You're very welcome eclamer!

If you still need assistance afterwards in malware removal, because sometimes the malware makes itself really tough to remove or you may have caught a new variant that Malwarebytes doesn't have in its database yet;

Please read the following:

We don't work on Malware removal in the general forums.

Please read and follow the directions here, skipping any steps you are unable to complete. Then post a NEW topic here.

One of the expert helpers there will give you one-on-one assistance when one becomes available.

Please note that it may take 48 hours or more for you to receive a response in the malware removal forum, as it is often busy at times. Please do not reply to your own post asking for help unless its been more than 48 hours since you originally posted, as this can make it appear as though you are being helped and take longer for you to get help.

If you are unable to do all or any of the steps in the link to the directions above, just post your problem into the forum I gave you a link to anyway and someone will be able to assist you.

Also, when replying, please use the "ADD REPLY" button located at the bottom of the page, as this makes the forum easier to read.

After posting your new post make sure under options that you select Track this topic and choose one of the Email options so that you're alerted when someone has replied to your post.

Thank you :D
