Hi. We have MBAM on the kids' computer, and my wife usually takes care of it. Tonight my son was having difficulty (I don't think it was malware related -- I think he just did something wrong). While trying to help him I noticed that MBAM was at 1.45, and I knew it was at 1.46 on my computer. I tried to update it, but kept getting an error message:

MBAM_ERROR_UPDATING

(183,0,SHSetvalue)

I went through the FAQs and it looks like this is a Windows error code, but how can I get around it and get MBAM to update?

Thanks.

In the immortal words of Emily Littela, "Nevermind."

I was trying to update from my son's account and his user has limited privileges -- logged on as an administrator and it's updating now.

I'm suitably embarrassed.
