I got hit by Antivirus Soft, deleted an sstd.exe file and can't get online help??

My son was on facebook and my laptop got infected with antivirus soft and I cant reboot my laptop in safe mode nor can I install any antivirus or anti malware software can anyone help me please??? Im using my new laptop to download the anti virus software and all but my other laptop which is infected is Windows Xp and I cant even get online or set up an internet connection. please help me..
