2Ton Posted June 10, 2008 ID:19905 Share Posted June 10, 2008 Updated well through the internal updater. The quick scan went well, but the Full scan does not finish. In fact, the program causes the computer to restart in the middle of the scan. This happens approximately after 7 minutes of scanning. I have tried to run the full scan three times and it does the same thing. It has also removed itself from starting with Windows.Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware 1.16Database version: 8458:45:28 AM 6/10/2008mbam-log-6-10-2008 (08-45-28).txtScan type: Quick ScanObjects scanned: 40095Time elapsed: 3 minute(s), 22 second(s)Memory Processes Infected: 0Memory Modules Infected: 0Registry Keys Infected: 0Registry Values Infected: 0Registry Data Items Infected: 0Folders Infected: 0Files Infected: 0Thanks

Guest bbildman Posted June 10, 2008 ID:19908 Share Posted June 10, 2008 I can affirm what 2 TON has reported, full scan on my Vista laptop (Compaq -- brand new) restarts the system in the beginning/middle of the full scan.I left the computer alone for an hour to make sure it was not a hardware problem (overheating etc) and then I started the 1.16 version and the full scan DOES restart my system. GT500 Posted June 10, 2008 ID:19942 Share Posted June 10, 2008 There should be a fix for the restarts/BSoD in 1.17. Once Marcin has a work-around for the issues with the protection module, then 1.17 will go live. He should have a beta for me to test here shortly. 2Ton Posted June 10, 2008 ID:19954 Share Posted June 10, 2008 Version 1.16 still refuses to work on my pc, even after a complete uninstall/reinstall. It must be conflicting with something on my pc, I do not know what because it runs well on a virtual pc. How do you debug "minidumps"? I think there might be some information that can help me there.Thanks----------------Windows XP Home SP3
GT500 Posted June 10, 2008 ID:19955 Share Posted June 10, 2008 Can you attach the minidump to a forum post, or e-mail it one of us?

mona7865 Posted June 10, 2008 ID:19958 Share Posted June 10, 2008 Just to let you know my update to version 1.16 went smoothly and didn't even require a reboot (I did -temporarily- disable my Online Armor firewall though). The protection mode is enabled as well. Both scans, a quick one, right after updating this morning, and a full one, when I got back from the office, ran without any problems.Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware 1.16Database versie: 8455:41:32 10/06/2008mbam-log-6-10-2008 (05-41-32).txtScan type: Snelle ScanObjecten gescand: 40717Verstreken tijd: 4 minute(s), 16 second(s)Geheugenprocessen ge
