I want the 1.44 back!!! or, when is 1.46 available?

Hello,

there are a lot of discussions about unavailable updates with 1.45 and several firewalls and security suites problems.

Everything worked fine for me until 1.45 came up and now a lot of users have problems with MBAM.

As no possibility is available to update manually, all exclusions in the firewall NIS10 brought no solution i would expect, that a new version of MBAM will be launched asap.

I spent so much time to find a final solution, but nothing has changed.

MichaW, run live update and after rebooting try to update mbam. My nis once again likes mbam.

Well done!

MBAM 1.45 uninstalled and problems are gone!

I'm left to wonder why it didn't work for you? We seem to get mixed results from users with NIS, tho most tend to be able to get it working, that leaves me thinking perhaps we're dealing with user error. Certainly not the first time that's happened. Nor not to be the last. :)

I have certainly wondered about this also. I have had MBAM for nearly two years now along with NIS 2009/2010 and not ever a problem.

Nor have i had to add any exclusions. I also do not have third party firewalls. I have simplified my security system to MBAM, NIS, and Firefox with noscript and better privacy, Ccleaner for trash removal (not registry) i even dumped that bloated and slow Spybot program. No issues and three fast clean computers that are 1-1/2, 2, and six years old. 1 XP and two Vista Home Prem 32 bt.
