Staff TeMerc Posted April 5, 2010 Staff ID:227514 Share Posted April 5, 2010 How come windows says I have no antivirus when I have the Full Version of MBAM?Hello.Malwarebytes Anti-Malware is not an anti virus application, it may not find viruses or worms and does not interact with any email clients or email web services in any way.You must have an antivirus software application installed.Malwarebytes Anti-Malware is not an Microsoft certified application and thusly, will not be displayed in the Windows Security Center. Only a very select few applications are displayed there.We're currently looking into how Microsoft certifies vendors to be recognized by Windows so Malwarebytes can be added.
