Registration of Pro Edition Question

I gave my computer away and it had a Mbam Pro License number installed on it.

I tried to install a new/different Pro Mbam license number on this computer but it keeps showing the ID number/license number that went with the other computer. It seems that it is blocking the use of the new Pro license number.

How do I go about installing Mbam so that I can use this new Pro License number on this computer?

Are you still in contact with the person you gave your computer to?

If so, you need to have them do the following:

1. Uninstall Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware using Add/Remove programs in the control panel.

2. Restart your computer (very important).

3. Download and run this utility.

4. It will ask to restart your computer (please allow it to).

5. After the computer restarts, install the latest version from here.

Edit: mountaintree16 beat me to it. Took a while to find the tool.

I removed Mbam and restarted the computer and then used the 'tool' and restarted and then I was able to install with the new Key Number.
