Malwarebytes wont open at all!

HELP! i cant get malware bytes to open on my computer and everytime i redownload the file and check create short cut. the shortcut is gone. so i click browse and where malwarebytes is suposed to be it is not there.. the file was changed or something. pop ups keep coming up and when i scan with avg free anti protection nothing comes up. please help i dont want to have to wipe that comeputer clean. so please i just want viruses gone. oh and i looked at another forum and it said to go to start run and type in some dse.. something and then show hidden files and the stuff to disable was not there so please help.
