Average user here, so im not well versed with the registry and deleting files from within.

Anyway Ive been using Malwarebytes free for some time but recently after an upgrade to win 7 ive gotten this registry infection. ive taken several measures to try to avoid contracting the infection but it seems it always shows up

My pc seems to be running fine for now but over time it will start to get lockups, bsod's, an then it gets so bad that I need to reset my cmos just to post a bios

Ive searched the forums and havent found anything under this exact description so i was wondering if i should take further action

HijackDisplay was found, quarantined, removed under ref #17364

database version 3924 on the free version

other security measures installed - Avast! free, ZoneAlarm free

thanks in advance
