Backdoor.Tidserv Problem / GMER Crashed My Systen

Recommended Posts

I was having problems with malware Backdoor.Tidserv inviting attacks on my system. (Norton Internet Security seemed to be blocking them). Neither MBAM nor Norton would find anything when run in both normal and safe modes, though the attempted attacks continued. I downloaded and ran DDS, then ran GMER. It bogged down my system each time, requiring me to power down and restart. Three times I tried this, and now, while my system will start, any attempt to do anything--even so much as a mouse click--will stall my system. CHKDSK doesn't find a problem with the disk when I run Rescue Console. I can't even copy the DDS reports onto a memory stick to post here. I need help figuring out how to get my system re-started before I can even address the infection. Thanks in advance!
